$200 Cash Prize for Best in Show!

Call for Artists:  Are you MODERN?
How do you interpret Mod? Is your work an homage to the past or a continuation of those ideas? Do you gain inspiration from the googie styles of the 1950s, or the sleek lines of Le Courbousier?  All genres, styles, and mediums will be considered, as long as they relate to the theme of “mod."

This is your chance to have your work seen by more than 3,000 art and culture lovers, who will be coming ready to shop at Denver Mod! The show is held at the Denver Mart - Pavilion Bldg.
Enter as many works as you like. Each entry is $10. Entry fees do not guarantee acceptance  into the show, which will be determined by our juror. All entries should be made electronically, as emailed jpegs; if you need an alternative submission method please contact  us for instructions. Accepted artists are responsible for delivery and pick-up of  their artwork to and from the Mart. If you  need to ship work, please contact Dana@danacain.com  for more  information.

Brandon  borchert  pop  art  award

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2019 WINNER:  LOUIS RECCHIA

Brandon Borchert was once named Denver's "Prince of Pop" by Westword art critic, Michael Paglia.  His tragic death at a young age in 2006, led art lover and Modernism show founder, Dana Cain, to establish this award, in his honor.  For a while, it was awarded whenever Denver's Art District on Santa Fe gave out annual awards. But that was sporadic, and then gone.  In 2015, we decided to make the Brandon Borchert Pop Art Award part of Denver Mod, and it has become a cherished part of our Art Gallery awards since then.
